How to play and learn

Steps

  1. Choose a mode, difficulty, class, and IoU threshold.
  2. Press Start Challenge and drag boxes tightly around objects.
  3. Choose the correct class before drawing each box.
  4. Submit detections to compare them with ground truth.
  5. Review IoU, errors, charts, and suggested adjustments.

IoU formula

IoU = Intersection Area ÷ Union Area

Glossary

True positive
A correctly classified box meeting the IoU threshold.
False positive
An incorrect class, duplicate box, or weak overlap.
False negative
A ground-truth object that was not detected.
Precision
The share of submitted boxes that were correct.
Recall
The share of real objects successfully detected.
