Formula used

Gravity drip rate: volume in mL × drop factor in gtt/mL ÷ infusion time in minutes.

Pump flow: volume in mL ÷ infusion time in hours.

Infusion time: volume in mL ÷ flow in mL/hour.

Observed flow: counted drops × 60 ÷ counted seconds, then converted using the tubing factor.

Medication flow: ordered hourly dose ÷ solution concentration.
