Formula used
Theoretical Nernst slope: ST = (2.303 × R × T ÷ F) × 1000
Measured slope: S = (E₂ − E₁) ÷ (pH₂ − pH₁), or linear regression for three or more buffers.
Slope percentage: |Smeasured| ÷ Stheoretical × 100
Calibration equation: E = m(pH) + b
Zero point: pH₀ = −b ÷ m
The calculator uses temperature-dependent theoretical response. It compares measured values with selected limits. It also checks drift, linearity, bracketing, buffer condition, and response time.
How to use this calculator
- Select the calibration mode and acceptance preset.
- Enter meter, electrode, operator, and SOP details.
- Add each buffer's certified value, corrected value, measured pH, millivolts, temperature, and response time.
- Record buffer lot, opening date, expiration date, freshness, and visual condition.
- Enter prior slope and offset when daily drift comparison is needed.
- Complete the workflow checklist and calculate the calibration.
- Review Pass, Warning, or Fail diagnostics before measuring samples.
- Export CSV, print a PDF record, copy the summary, or save the record in browser history.
