Formula Used
DMS to DD: Decimal degrees = degrees + minutes ÷ 60 + seconds ÷ 3600. South and West coordinates receive a negative sign.
DD to DMS: Degrees are the whole number. Remaining degrees become minutes, while remaining minutes become seconds.
DDM to DD: Decimal degrees = degrees + decimal minutes ÷ 60. Hemisphere directions determine the final sign.
UTM: WGS 84 ellipsoid values feed Transverse Mercator equations. The central meridian depends on the selected UTM zone.
