Formula and reward settings

Choose a preset or enter a server-specific curve.

Custom logistic formula parameters

Used only when the custom preset is selected. Formula: p = (((A − B) ÷ (1 + C × e−D×r)) + B) × E + F.

Bracket ratings and participation

Enter separate values for every weekly bracket.

Bracket Current rating Games played Wins

Rating target and match simulator

Model one match or a longer series.

Set one for a single-match simulation.
Reuse a seed to repeat the same series.

Season and point planning

Forecast weekly income, rating, cap waste, and purchases.

Use zero for no cap.

Formula used

Anniversary base points:
p = (((1651.94 − 475) ÷ (1 + 2,500,000 × e−0.009r)) + 475) × 1.5

Bracket reward:
Weekly points = p × bracket multiplier, subject to weekly eligibility.

Expected rating:
New rating = current rating + (wins × gain) − (losses × loss).

Average net change:
Net per match = (win probability × gain) − (loss probability × loss).

The Anniversary preset applies the published logistic curve before each bracket multiplier. The calculator then checks entered participation against the minimum games. Only eligible brackets can become the weekly winner.

Older presets use commonly documented historical curves. Private realms may implement different rewards, caps, or requirements. Custom settings let you match those rules accurately.

How to use this calculator

  1. Select the formula matching your realm or season.
  2. Enter rating, games, and wins for every bracket.
  3. Set your expected win rate and rating changes.
  4. Choose a match count and target rating.
  5. Enter current points and remaining season weeks.
  6. Select gear, adjust costs, and assign priorities.
  7. Calculate, review projections, and export your plan.

Use the same assumptions when comparing brackets. A higher rating can offset a smaller bracket multiplier. Eligibility still determines whether points are awarded.

Example data

Scenario Rating Games Wins Win rate Expected use
Casual 2v2 week 1,500 10 5 50% Check minimum participation reward
Progressing 3v3 team 1,700 25 14 56% Compare points and weapon timing
High-rated 5v5 team 2,000 30 18 60% Forecast capped weekly earnings

Understanding the arena projection

Arena planning combines weekly eligibility, rating, bracket size, and reward curves. The highest rating does not always produce the best usable reward. Different multipliers can change the leading bracket.

The match simulator separates rating movement from weekly point income. Enter realistic average gains and losses from your recent matches. The expected result shows the long-run mathematical outcome.

Random simulation adds variance to the same probability. A fixed seed repeats identical outcomes for easier comparisons. The evenly distributed option removes most short-term randomness.

The target estimator depends on positive average progress. A negative expected change cannot reach a higher rating mathematically. Adjust assumptions instead of treating the target as guaranteed.

Season projections recalculate points after expected weekly rating movement. They also apply your chosen cap before purchasing gear. Any excess at the cap appears as wasted points.

The gear planner purchases available items by priority. An item waits when points or rating are insufficient. Editable requirements support different seasons and private-server configurations.

Historical presets provide useful comparisons across TBC rulesets. Formula implementations can change between releases or realms. Verify unusual results against your server’s current announcement.

Charts reveal the relationship between rating growth and spending. A falling point balance may simply indicate planned purchases. Review the timeline for exact weekly transactions.

Exports preserve the calculated tables for later analysis. CSV works well for spreadsheets and custom charts. PDF creates a convenient shareable planning record.

Browser storage saves inputs only on your device. History also remains inside the current browser. Clearing site data removes those saved calculations.

Frequently asked questions

Which bracket awards the most Arena Points?

The calculator compares every eligible bracket after applying its rating and multiplier. The largest final value becomes the projected weekly reward.

Why does an ineligible bracket show zero points?

Its entered games are below the selected weekly minimum. Increase games or adjust the requirement for your realm.

Can I calculate only one arena bracket?

Yes. Enter that bracket normally and set the others below eligibility. The selected bracket will lead when eligible.

How accurate is the rating simulator?

It uses your average gain, loss, and win probability. Actual matchmaking changes vary, so the result remains an estimate.

What does the random seed change?

It controls the generated win and loss sequence. Reusing the same seed reproduces the same simulated series.

Can this calculator support private servers?

Yes. Choose the custom formula and edit multipliers, minimum games, point cap, gear costs, and requirements.

Why was my planned item not purchased?

The projection lacked enough points, rating, or weeks. Check its cost, requirement, and priority against the timeline.

Does the season projection include rating growth?

Yes. It applies the entered weekly matches, win rate, gain, and loss before calculating each weekly reward.

Can I export the result?

Yes. Use CSV for spreadsheet analysis, PDF for sharing, copy for notes, or print for paper records.
