    Formula Used

Worked minutes = clock-out − clock-in. Overnight shifts add one day. Decimal hours may replace times.

Net minutes = worked minutes − unpaid breaks. Paid breaks remain included. Rounding applies after deductions.

Regular pay = regular hours × hourly rate. Overtime uses its selected multiplier. Double-time uses its multiplier.

Adjusted estimate = gross earnings + bonuses − deductions. Premium multipliers apply by shift. Taxes are not calculated.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    How are overnight shifts calculated?

Mark the Overnight box. The calculator adds twenty-four hours. It then subtracts unpaid breaks.

Can I enter multiple shifts daily?

Yes. Add one row per shift. Daily totals combine automatically.

    How do paid breaks work?

Paid breaks remain within worked time. Unpaid breaks reduce net hours. Each row supports both.

    How does time rounding work?

Choose an increment and method. Rounding follows break deductions. No rounding remains available.

    Can overtime rules be customised?

Yes. Set daily and weekly thresholds. Multipliers can also change.

    How are decimal hours entered?

Enter decimal hours within the shift row. That value overrides clock times. Break deductions still apply.

    How are split shifts handled?

Use separate rows sharing one date. The calculator combines daily hours. Overlap warnings remain active.

Does the calculator save personal data?

Browser saving uses local device storage. Data is not transmitted. Clear storage whenever needed.

Can I export the completed timecard?

Yes. Download CSV or PDF files. Printing and copying are also available.
