The expected result uses a pull-by-pull hazard model. The base rate applies before soft pity. After the entered soft-pity start, the probability increases by the editable increment until hard pity forces a result.

Understanding Wish Planning
A wish plan separates guaranteed limits from probability estimates. Hard pity gives a maximum distance to the next five-star item, but it does not always guarantee the selected promotional target. The guarantee state therefore changes the safest required budget.
Character planning should count every desired copy independently. Pity resets whenever a five-star appears, including an unwanted result. After receiving the target, the next copy normally begins without a promotional guarantee unless another rule changes that state.
Weapon planning also needs the selected path status. A promotional weapon guarantee and a selected-weapon path are not identical. The first narrows the result to promotional weapons, while the path determines when the chosen weapon becomes guaranteed.
Probability estimates require assumptions about soft pity. Published base rates and hard guarantees are suitable for simplified planning. Community-derived soft-pity curves may improve simulations, but they should never be treated as exact promises.
Deadline forecasting works best when every reward is entered conservatively. Include only events, quests, exploration, and recurring activities you realistically expect to complete. Missed days reduce daily commissions and login-dependent rewards.
The spending section is deliberately optional. Local prices, bonuses, taxes, and platform differences can change the real purchase total. Treat its package combination as a budgeting aid and maintain a firm personal limit.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does character pity carry between concurrent character banners?
Use one character-event pity record for concurrent character event wishes. The calculator therefore provides one character pity field rather than separate counters for each featured character.
Does weapon pity share with character pity?
No. Enter weapon and character pity separately because the calculator models them as different banner families.
Why is soft pity editable?
Soft-pity curves are modeled assumptions. Editing the start and increment lets users compare conservative and community-derived estimates without changing hard guarantees.
How should Capturing Radiance be entered?
Enable the reference checkbox and set the featured character first-result rate you want simulated. The exact mechanic depends on previous outcomes, so a single universal rate may be misleading.
Can this calculate C6 from no character?
Yes. Enter seven new character copies. Each successful copy resets pity, and the model repeats the promotional-result process.
Can this calculate R5 from no weapon?
Yes. Enter five weapon copies. The selected path resets after each successful chosen weapon in the calculator’s model.
Why does a specific standard item have no finite worst case?
Hard pity guarantees a five-star, not a particular standard pool item. The calculator therefore uses confidence thresholds instead of claiming a guaranteed maximum.
Are ten-pulls luckier than single pulls?
The calculator treats ten-pulls as grouped single wishes. They are displayed for convenience and do not receive an extra probability multiplier.
Does the history importer need my account login?
No. Paste or import local CSV or JSON data. Never provide passwords, verification codes, or account credentials to a calculator.
How accurate are simulation percentages?
More trials reduce random noise, but accuracy still depends on the entered rates and rule assumptions. Run detailed simulations for tighter estimates.
Can banner rules change later?
Yes. All major pity, rate, and guarantee assumptions are editable so the page can be updated without rewriting its core logic.
