Adjusted maturation duration
The base maturation duration represents the creature’s unmodified growth time. The calculator divides that duration by every active speed factor. An event multiplier is separated so administrators can model temporary boosted weekends without permanently rewriting the normal server value. The optional single-player factor is user-controlled because host panels, game modes, mods, and saved configurations can produce different effective behavior.
Care interval
A lower cuddle interval multiplier creates more frequent care requests. Faster maturation normally needs a proportionally smaller interval. When the interval is longer than the remaining maturation duration, the baby reaches adulthood before a care can occur. This is the most common reason a seemingly fast breeding configuration cannot produce a full imprint.
Available and safe care opportunities
The raw opportunity count includes every interval that mathematically fits before adulthood. The safe count removes the user’s requested final margin. A margin is useful because server lag, login delay, travel time, cryopod handling, inventory preparation, or a late care prompt can make a final interaction dangerously close to adulthood. A setup marked safe is therefore more forgiving than one marked possible with precise timing.
Imprint percentage per care
The calculator uses the opportunity count to estimate the base share of imprint awarded by each successful interaction. It then applies the imprint amount multiplier and caps a single interaction at 100 percent. This provides a useful planning model for one-care, three-care, or many-care configurations. Actual in-game rounding and creature-specific behavior may cause small differences, so administrators should test a representative fast-growing creature before applying settings to an established server.

Why one creature is not enough for server-wide settings
A configuration can work perfectly for a slow-growing Giganotosaurus yet fail for a creature with a much shorter maturation duration. Server-wide cuddle and amount multipliers affect every breedable creature. For that reason, the comparison tool is not merely decorative. It reveals whether a common configuration remains safe across multiple baselines. Administrators should test a fast creature, a medium creature, and a slow creature. They should also consider whether the server expects players to imprint every species or only selected combat lines.
Using the reverse generator responsibly
The reverse generator calculates a mature speed that reaches the desired duration and a cuddle multiplier that fits the requested number of care interactions before the selected safety margin. It is a starting point, not a guarantee. Aiming for exactly one care offers convenience but little protection against delay. Three or more interactions can create a more engaging breeding loop and provide room to validate behavior before adulthood. Extremely small intervals can generate excessive notifications and make ordinary play inconvenient.
Configuration file safety
Back up the existing configuration before making changes. Stop the server if the host requires offline editing. Keep one instance of each setting key, because duplicate keys can create confusing results. Some hosting panels rewrite values through graphical controls, so verify the saved file after restarting. Mods can override or supplement breeding behavior. Temporary event multipliers can also stack with permanent settings. Test with expendable creatures before committing valuable breeding lines.
Important data note
The built-in creature durations are editable convenience baselines designed to make the calculator immediately useful. They should not be treated as a guaranteed live database. Game updates, total-conversion mods, unofficial balance changes, host presets, and server events can alter effective maturation. Enter the exact duration observed on your server whenever precision matters.
Frequently asked questions
Why does the calculator say the baby matures before the first care?
The adjusted maturation duration is shorter than the calculated care interval. Lower the cuddle interval multiplier, reduce the mature speed, or apply a larger imprint amount multiplier after creating at least one valid care opportunity.
What is the safest way to create a one-care imprint setup?
Make the first care occur comfortably before adulthood, then increase the imprint amount multiplier enough to award 100 percent. Keep a safety margin for login delay, server lag, and travel time. Test several species because the shortest maturation baseline is the limiting case.
Why can the projected result differ slightly from the game?
The calculator uses a transparent interval model. In-game timers, server ticks, rounding rules, patches, mods, and host-specific multipliers can create small differences. Use the tool for planning, then confirm with a test creature.
Should the event multiplier be included?
Include it only when the event is active and not already represented in the mature multiplier entered above. Applying it twice produces unrealistically short maturation times.
What happens when DisableImprintDinoBuff is enabled?
The setting is included in the INI generator so administrators can document whether the imprint-related rider and creature bonus is disabled. The schedule and percentage calculations still model care completion independently.
Can I calculate a baby that is already partly grown?
Yes. Enter current maturation and current imprint percentages. The calculator reduces remaining time, preserves existing imprint, subtracts missed interactions, and recomputes the remaining opportunity count.
Does the calculator modify my server automatically?
No. It generates text for review and copying. It does not connect to a server, host panel, save file, or remote configuration service.
