SrA means Senior Airman. It is the E-4 enlisted grade. Promotion remains subject to official personnel approval.
What is time in service?
Time in service measures creditable military service. The calculator starts from the entered service date. Official records may use adjusted dates.
What is time in grade?
Time in grade measures service in the current grade. This page starts from A1C DOR. Correct date entries are essential.
How is the Regular Air Force date calculated?
The calculator compares two qualifying routes. It selects the earlier calculated date. Other requirements can still delay promotion.
What is Below-the-Zone?
BTZ is an early promotion programme. The planning date is six months earlier. Selection is competitive and not automatic.
Does a projected BTZ date guarantee consideration?
No projected date guarantees consideration. Unit processing and record status still matter. Confirm the board schedule locally.
How does the quota estimator work?
It applies a 15% planning rate. The result is rounded to a whole quota. Approved allocations may differ.
Can prior service change the result?
Prior service can change creditable dates. Adjusted dates require personnel review. Enter every known special case.
Why does the calculator show a warning?
Warnings identify records needing confirmation. They do not determine official ineligibility. Review them with authorised personnel.
