Formula used

The calculator starts with a baseline amendment rate. It multiplies that rate by area and pH change. Soil and product corrections are then applied.

× Application-method factor ÷ Effective product strength

Effective strength includes purity, moisture, fineness, application efficiency, and CCE. Custom materials can use an additional strength correction. Laboratory recommendations can replace the estimated rate.
