Frequently Asked Questions

How are overnight shifts calculated?

Enable the overnight option for that shift. The end time moves into tomorrow. Break deductions still follow the selected break settings.

Are paid breaks deducted?

Paid breaks are recorded but not deducted. Unpaid breaks reduce the net work duration. Both totals appear in the result summary.

How does weekly overtime work?

Regular hours accumulate inside each Monday-based week. Hours above the weekly threshold become overtime. Daily overtime remains classified before weekly adjustments.

Can the calculator handle split shifts?

Add multiple shifts under the same workday. Each shift receives independent times and breaks. The day summary combines every valid shift.

What does rounding change?

Rounding changes each clock punch before totals. Raw and rounded results remain visible together. Break minutes remain exact unless manually changed.

Can weekend and holiday premiums overlap?

Premiums are added separately to calculated earnings. Their hours may overlap overtime categories. Review workplace rules before using final payroll values.

How are automatic breaks applied?

Set a duration threshold and break length. Qualifying shifts receive one automatic unpaid deduction. Manual unpaid breaks are also deducted normally.

Does local saving upload my timesheet?

Local saving uses your browser storage only. It does not send entries anywhere. Clearing browser data may remove saved information.

Are earnings exact payroll amounts?

Earnings are estimates from your selected rules. Taxes and statutory deductions are not calculated. Always compare results with official payroll records.

Can I export detailed results?

Use CSV for spreadsheet-compatible data. Use PDF for a formatted report. The copy button creates a plain-text summary.
