Planning a Reliable Skim Coat Project

Measure Every Surface

Measure each wall separately. Record ceilings as separate surfaces. Add beams, columns, alcoves, and stair walls individually. This method supports different materials and conditions. It also makes later changes easier.

Assign each opening to the correct wall. Large doors and windows usually reduce material. Small openings may not reduce working effort. The optional threshold can ignore them. Review the setting before ordering.
