Base pipe length = wall drainage runs + outlet runs + end extensions + bend allowance + fitting allowance.

Pipe packages = total pipe length ÷ package length, rounded upward.

Excavation volume = trench length × trench width × trench depth.

Fabric area = trench length × (trench width + twice trench depth) × layers × overlap allowance.

Overall cost = materials + labour + groundworks + equipment + extras + overhead + contingency + tax.
