How to use this calculator

Enter verified geometry first

Use approved dimensions whenever they are available. Select the main shape, enter the average raft thickness, and add thickened strips, edge beams, internal beams, drop panels, pedestals, lift bases, sumps, and other zones separately. Use custom additions and deductions for irregular pieces. Keep structural volume separate from procurement allowances so estimated waste remains visible.

Model the placement system as one connected chain

Concrete production is limited by the slowest part of the operation. The calculator compares batching plant output, pump output, transit-mixer cycle capacity, and placement crew productivity. Realistic travel, queue, wash, loading, unloading, weather, and downtime values are more useful than ideal equipment ratings.
